Task-1:Apply through Registration form
At first let’s talk about the activities that we have before applying for an open badge. The first task is to register officially to the Mozilla base. That means you have to input your basic information into a Firefox student ambassador form. Here is the link:
Task-2: Share/Post the Registration form with Hashtags
This is very easy task. all you have to do is, get an account on Facebook/Twitter/Google+ & post about the program using the hash-tags (#Firefox #students #Mozilla) and provide the link to the FSA registration form. Remember the hash tags are very important and has to be the same as given above. Also provide the link to the registration form and post it to any of the accounts. I have accounts in all of them. besides Facebook, i suggest you to keep an account on tweeter and Google+ too. Trust me that would be much smoother and easier.
Task-3: Create/Join Firefox Club of your campus
You have to either create a Firefox Club or join a Firefox Club if there is already one located at your school. How to create a club?? simple!! gather as much software freak people as you can. ask the authority of your school to permit you to open this  Firefox club. Make sure you influence them and convince them well enough so that they approve your request with flying colors.
Task-4: Read and follow
This is the most important task;you have to become familiar with Mozilla. there are 5 steps which you have to complete being a Firefox student ambassador. I will talk about other steps later on in another post but task-3 is all about the step-1 out of the 5 steps. In step-1 we have 6 parts..
Part-1 says “Familiarize yourself with Mozilla and its community”. So you start watching the video in the link given: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/mission/
Part-2: You read about the various ways in which you can contribute as a FSA. Here is the link to get involved: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contribute/
Part-3: Read and know about the mozilla products. Here is the link: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/products/
Part-4: Read and try to learn about webmaker. Try doing any one of the projects following the link: https://webmaker.org/
Part-5: Read to know all about Mozilla support. the link is: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/get-involved
After completing all these parts of the 4 tasks, you are now ready to apply for the open badge. go to this link and fill up the form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/10IsyspUmaixL14IO-fUbuGByHX08-Rgdg5w5ShcEYvw/viewform
In this form, you have to write about what you have learnt about Firefox;you have to paste the link of the post that you have posted in Facebook/tweeter/Google+ [see in task-2]. you also have to paste the link of your Firefox club Facebook page. That’s it!! You have done it!!! Mozilla Corporation will send you the FSA open badge after viewing your details and verifying them.
